Coaching and Mentoring - The Issues:

1)
Regardless of the size, resources and location of organizations, in order to be an effective participant in the continuously changing global economy, it is vital to have a clear understanding of organizations and the people who work in them.

2) The challenges of today's organizations require the extensive use of teams, empowered employees and participative workforces. However, many individuals are often unaware of their strengths and weaknesses. Therefore, the actual assessment and subsequent coaching/mentoring of individuals, leaders, and teams is very important. Professional coaching/mentoring serves as the catalyst for the change process in order to shape and transform our workforce to perform more effectively.

3) A coach is a professional who works with individuals in developmental transition as well as with organizational forces to identify and tap into new energy and purpose, to shape new personal visions and plans, and to generate desired outcomes.

4) In contrast, mentoring is an experienced individual who guides and directs someone with less knowledge in a given area.
